Problem Statement:

When using Live Authoring and right-clicking an element on the page to generate "Wait" or "Click" steps, they are not being added to the Journey as expected.

Additionally, if steps are manually written and require "fixing", the "Fix Step" feature is unable to correctly identify the element.

Solution:

In certain circumstances, an application can override native JavaScript functions, which Virtuoso would usually rely on to run.

By enabling "Page Interaction Compatibility Mode" in the Goal Settings, Virtuoso should now function correctly and bypass these errors.
