Getting Started with Virtuoso’s Training Courses

Virtuoso provides training courses grouped into different levels for different user’s needs. The courses are accessible in a single learning portal, where the aim is to “learn by doing” with guided, video based modules with practical tasks.


These courses include:

  • Introduction - this is a 5m overview only

  • Fundamentals (1h45m) - covers the basics of author, execute, report, maintain. 

    • Recommended for all users getting to grips with the basics

  • Practitioner I (2h) - covers more advanced topics including advanced NLP, APIs, data, environments, assertions.

    • For all testers who will run detailed regression, data-driven and integration tests

  • Practitioner II (1h40m) - covers advanced topics such as e-2-e testing, sequential APIs, extensions, flows, performance, visual regression

    • For advanced level testers, including end-to-end integrated testing

  • Technician (25m) - provides infrastructure overview, Bridge, Ci/CD, 2FA, the API, SSO

    • For any technical person who will integrate Virtuoso into DevOps environments

  • Partner (55m) - only for partners. Covers partner onboard and support to understand how to demo and deploy Virtuoso

    • For Virtuoso partners only

Virtuoso Platform Access

To get started, you need access to the Virtuoso platform. For existing customers, we recommend creating a new Project for the learning goals & journeys you’ll create. If you don’t yet have access, please contact learning@virtuoso.qa or talk to your Account Executive. For partners, your Partner Account Manager will set up access to Virtuoso & the partner courses.

Accessing the Training Portal 

Once you have access to the Virtuoso platform, to get started learning:


  • Go to https://training.virtuoso.qa/library/

  • Pick a course - it is recommended to start with the Fundamentals. 

  • Click Register for that course to create your account.

  • You will need to create a new account - your Virtuoso platform account login credentials are not linked to the training portal.

  • Once you have registered, get started with the courses, as follows:

    • View the learning content - mostly video based modules that you will need to watch to learning the capabilities

    • Complete the practical tasks - these let you learn by doing with prescriptive tasks and instructions to ensure you can successfully complete the learning

    • Take the short assessments based on what you have learned

  • At the end of the course you will automatically receive a certificate of completion.

  • More importantly, you will be a competent test automator using Virtuoso!!


And remember to share your certification with your network - it is a great validation of your ever improving skills & capabilities.
